292 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Transport the number of applicants waiting for a driving test at the Killarney test centre, County Kerry; the average waiting time for applicants; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4113/03]

As of Monday, 10 February 2003 there were 1,880 applicants awaiting a driving test. Of these, 507 applicants have been scheduled for a test and 110 applicants are not currently available.

The current average waiting time for a test in Killarney is 13 weeks.
