Question:89 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs if his attention has been drawn to the written submission by the Commission for Racial Equality to the Education Committee of the Scottish Parliament in regard to the Gaelic Language (Scotland) Bill being potentially damaging to race relations; if, in view of this submission, he will refer the Official Languages (Equality) Bill 2002 to the Equality Authority for examination in regard to equality proofing; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
