Pádraic McCormack

Question:

67 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the outstanding recommendations which have to be implemented from the report of the advisory committee on the role of women in agriculture; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3987/03]

The report of the advisory committee on the role of women in agriculture contains over 30 recommendations, covering a broad range of areas, primarily education and training, information technology and social inclusion. The report's overall findings were incorporated into the national plan for women. Most of the recommendations falling within the remit of my Depart ment have been implemented and the relevant Departments are pursuing the remaining recommendations.
