The following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 were received by the Ceann Comhairle, and this is a list of the name of the member ineach case: (1) Deputy Crawford – the urgent need to fund the building of Knockconan national school, Emyvale, County Monaghan; (2) Deputy Gogarty – the need for the Government to prove that they were not aware until recently of child sexual abuse taking place over the last 40 years in residential institutions; (3) Deputy Durkan – the subject matter of P.Q. No. 4214/03 of 13 February 2003; (4) Deputy Ring – if capital funding has been allocated to the Irish Wheelchair Association to provide respite care units on a site secured by the organisation in Belmullet, County Mayo.
The matters raised by Deputies Crawford, Gogarty, Ring and Durkan have been selected for discussion.
