123 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 423 of 10 December 2002, if funding will be approved for the Ballyleague sewerage scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5054/03]

Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Cullen):

My Department has approved the brief submitted by Roscommon County Council for the appointment of a client's representative to prepare a design review report and tender documents for the scheme. Further advancement of the scheme is now a matter for the council.
