414 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Transport the original estimated cost for archaeological excavation for the northern motorway airport to Balbriggan bypass; and the current estimated cost for archaeological excavation. [5287/03]

The original and current estimated costs for archaeological excavation for the northern motorway airport to Balbriggan bypass are matters for the National Roads Authority.

However, I have been informed by the NRA the total current archaeological excavation cost is €1.8 million.

415 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Transport the original estimated cost for archaeological excavation for the south eastern motorway; and the current estimated cost for archaeological excavation. [5289/03]

The original and current estimated costs for archaeological excavation for the south eastern motorway are matters for the National Roads Authority.

However I have been informed by the NRA that the original estimated cost for the archaeological excavation was €740,000. The current estimated cost is €10 million.
