131 Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science the reasons funding for an arts project for the elderly at Swanlinbar Day Care Centre, County Cavan, has been withdrawn; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5982/03]
Funds for adult and community education services are provided by my Department to the vocational education committees. The disbursement of these funds is a matter for each VEC, which, subject to its budget, decides the nature of the local adult education service to be provided and the manner in which adult education funds should be spent.
