An extension project has recently been completed at St. Mary's College, Naas, County Kildare which will cater for an enrolment of 800 pupils. However, because the building project for the proposed further extension to St. Mary's College, Naas, County Kildare is at such an early stage and given the level of financial commitments to be met from projects already in construction it is not envisaged that my Department will be in a position during this year to initiate architectural planning on any further large scale building projects. The proposed extension at this school will be considered again in the context of the 2004 capital programme and subsequent years.
