185 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if full details regarding the care and treatment of a person (details supplied) while a patient of St. Canice's Hospital, Kilkenny, will be released to this person's father; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5990/03]

Responsibility for the provision of care and treatment of the named individual while a patient in St. Canice's Hospital rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
