246 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of duplicate CAO applications which were submitted electronically in 2003; the reason the CAO charges an administration charge for the refund of this overpayment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6247/03]

As the Central Applications Office does not come within my Department's remit it is suggested that the Deputy raise the issues in question with that office.
