I propose to take Questions Nos. 375 to 380, inclusive, together.
I have been informed by the Garda authorities, who are responsible for the allocation of personnel and resources to individual areas, that the personnel strength – all ranks – of the Garda stations referred to in the questions, as of 26 February 2003, is as follows:

Resources are augmented from within the relevant district or division as required. These areas are also patrolled by the divisional traffic unit.
I am further informed that the situation with respect to each station will be kept under review and when additional personnel next become available the needs of Carrick-on-Suir, Cashel, Clonmel, Cahir, Fethard and Tipperary town will be fully considered within the overall context of the needs of Garda stations throughout the country.
