Question:

406 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason a visa application has been refused in respect of a person (details supplied). [6461/03]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 405 and 406 together.

The visa applications in question were refused due to insufficient supporting documentation. Reasons for the refusal will be forwarded to the applicants, and it is then open to them to appeal against the refusal by writing to the visa appeals officer in my Department. In this regard, the immigration division, which includes the visa office, is located at 13-14 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2.
