144 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if it is intended to proceed with plans to establish TG4 as a separate entity in 2003; his proposals for the future structures of the station; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6265/03]

I intend to bring a proposal to Government shortly to give effect to the commitment in the programme for Government in relation to the establishment of TG4 as an independent statutory entity.
