Question:169 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the proposed nature of the public consultation process on a draft charter for RTE; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6270/03]
Written Answers - Public Service Broadcasting.
I will shortly publish a draft public service broadcasting charter. I will then initiate a public consultation process, by placing advertisements in national media, inviting submissions from interested parties in relation to the draft charter. To facilitate debate in the matter, I will establish an on-line forum on my Department's website.
