276 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the total funding allocated in the budgets of each of the past three years to his Department for the provision of coastal marinas; the total amount of the funding drawn down in regard to such projects; and if he will make a statement on the matter. 278 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the funding allocated in each of the past three years in his Department's budget for the provision of grants of funding for the provision of coastal marinas; the total amount of the funding drawn down in each of the past three years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 276 and 278 together.

An allocation of €5.7 million was provided for marine leisure projects as part of Budget 2000. Four projects were chosen as flagship projects for marine access infrastructure development in the State. The projects and their grant allocations were as follows:
