376 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the number of civil servants who are on transfer lists to other sections of his Department outside Dublin; the locations and numbers involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7378/03]

At present 370 civil servants are on my Department's trans fer lists. The breakdown is as follows: 167 requesting a transfer to Castlebar in County Mayo; 114 requesting a transfer to Cork and 89 requesting a transfer to Johnstown Castle Estate in County Wexford.
