Question:384 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will consider approving funding under the RAPID Programme in respect of a project (details supplied) in County Cork. [7011/03]

My Department, in its 2003 letters of determination to each health board and in other correspondence to the health board chief executive officers, asked each health board to prioritise its funding allocations in favour of RAPID projects wherever possible. A decision in relation to the project referred to by the Deputy is a matter for the Southern Health Board.
