Vol. 563 No. 1

Written Answers - Autism Services.

Pat Carey

Question:

418 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Health and Children if a suitable placement can be arranged for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 who has been diagnosed with autism; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7160/03]

Responsibility for the provision of services to people with an intellectual disability or autism in the Dublin region lies with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
