Vol. 563 No. 1

Written Answers - Smoking Ban.

John Dennehy

Question:

421 Mr. Dennehy asked the Minister for Health and Children if he intends to extend his proposed ban on smoking in restaurants and pubs to licensed betting offices; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7184/03]

While public comment on my recent announcement has focused on the implications of a smoking ban for restaurants and licensed premises, the prohibition will relate to all workplaces and will include licensed betting offices also.
