Written Answers - Grant Payments.

Paul Connaughton

Question:

226 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a suckler cow grant will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7017/03]

The person named applied for premium on 39 animals under the 2002 suckler cow premium scheme. The application has been fully processed and payment of his 80% advance entitlement issued on 3 March 2003.

Willie Penrose

Question:

227 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if an application for land improvements under the farm improvement scheme (details supplied) can be reconsidered, due to the fact that the person to whom approval was granted, was in considerable ill health from 1996 onwards, and eventually died following an illness; if, in view of the ongoing considerable medical difficulties for almost four years, approval will be reinstated to have these works carried out on the farm by this person's successors; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7071/03]

The case concerned is being re-examined and I will revert to the Deputy as soon as possible.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

228 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when area aid payments will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7208/03]

There is no record of an area aid application having been received from the person named for the 2002 scheme.
