Written Answers - School Accommodation.
The information in the format requested by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department. However, my Department has recently undertaken on a pilot basis a comprehensive inventory of accommodation, which includes information on the level of PE facilities, of 115 primary and post-primary schools in County Kildare. The information gained from the survey has been placed on a GIS database. The Department is at present undertaking a detailed assessment of the pilot phase of the inventory to determine the exact nature and extent of a nationwide survey, having regard to available resources.
