590 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when finance will be available to construct a new fire station at Freshford, County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter in view of the information given in the reply to a parliamentary question of 4 March 2003. As indicated in reply to Questions Nos. 414 and 415 on 4 February 2003 and to Question No. 414 on 4 March 2003, proposals from Kilkenny County Council for approval to contract documents for a new fire station at Freshford are with my Department. It is not yet possible to indicate when funding will be available for this station.
