Question:137 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Finance the position regarding the building of a new Garda station in New Ross, County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9153/03]

The Commissioners of Public Works have purchased a site at Marshmeadows, New Ross, County Wexford for the erection of a Garda district headquarters. It is expected that tenders for this project will be invited later this year and that the building will be completed by the end of 2004.
