152 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science if the necessary funding will be provided to replace the central heating boiler at Presentation Secondary School, Tralee, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9196/03]
An application for grant aid has been received from the school authority to have repairs carried out to certain areas of the school including the heating system. However, in view of the scale of the 2003 capital programme as now published, and available on my Department's website at www.education.ie and having regard to the level of financial commitments to be met from projects already in construction, I do not envisage that my Department will be in a position to authorise any additional projects to proceed in 2003. The timing of when this project can progress is dependent on the funding allocation in 2004.
