Vol. 564 No. 3

Written Answers - Hospital Services.

Aengus Ó Snodaigh

Question:

196 Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has referred the recently published Pollock report into the appalling conditions at Crumlin Hospital to his Department's risk assessment and insurers; and if provision has been made for potential taxpayer exposure in the event of claims arising as a result of the substandard facilities at the hospital. [9397/03]

Services at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority and my Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to examine these matters and to reply to the Deputy directly.
