300 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children if funding has been sought for a RAPID programme (details supplied); the funding which has been allocated if the application was received; the funding available from his Department in regard to such programmes; the headings under which the funding is available; and the time scale of such funding. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

My Department has asked each health board to prioritise its funding allocations in favour of RAPID projects wherever possible. Details in regard to RAPID are a matter for each health board. A decision on the projects referred to by the Deputy is a matter for the South-Western Area Health Board and the Eastern Regional Health Authority.
