328 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if the Western Health Board will consider the case of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo and have them called for treatment, in view of the fact that this person's condition has deteriorated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to persons residing in County Sligo rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has asked its chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised and to reply directly to the Deputy.
