Vol. 565 No. 3

Written Answers. - Airport Security.

Finian McGrath

Question:

349 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Transport if he has satisfied himself with the safety procedures at Dublin Airport following recent incidents with aeroplanes; and if he will make a statement on these urgent incidents. [10754/03]

I am satisfied with the safety procedures at Dublin Airport.

I understand that the incidents to which the Deputy is referring were not unusual and did not compromise safety in any way. The Irish Aviation Authority, which provides air traffic control services at the airport, would be happy to elaborate to the Deputy on this response.
