398 Mr. Morgan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position regarding the legal action being taken against the Government, the Attorney General and a company (details supplied) in relation to the Thorp plant at Sellafield; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Cullen):

The action against the Government, the Attorney General, and BNFL in relation to the Thorp plant at Sellafield is being taken by the stop Thorp alliance Dundalk, STAD, group and its progress is accordingly a matter for the group.
