Written Answers. - Civil Defence Expenditure.
The expenditure of local authorities on Civil Defence is generally recouped at 70% by my Department, although grants of 100% are provided in certain instances, such as the funding of national exercises. The information sought by the Deputy is set out in the following tabular statement.
