Question:189 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a reply did not issue from the quota section of his Department to a person (details supplied) in County Galway. [11641/03]
Written Answers. - Sheep Quota.
There is no record in the quota section of my Department at Michael Davitt House, Castlebar, of a letter having been received from the person named. In fact the quota section in Castlebar wrote to the person named on 6 February 2003 requesting a planners recalculation of his ewe destocking under the commonage framework plan as he indicated earlier that he would consult with a planner to have my Departments calculation reviewed. No response has been received from him to date, despite a contact name and address having been provided in the relevant letter.
