271 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare can be transferred to the Department of Agriculture and Food in Maynooth, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12218/03]
The Department of Agriculture and Food has advised us that it is transferring some of its sections to Maynooth. As things currently stand, it expects to be able to fill all posts there through internal redeployment. If a shortfall arises it will, however, advertise the posts throughout the Civil Service and establish a transfer list. It also advised us, that while there is no transfer list at present for Maynooth, the officer in question is 75th on its transfer list for posts in Naas.
