Question:

295 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Education and Science if a full time learning support teacher will be provided for Galway Educate Together national school. [11520/03]

Galway Educate Together national school is currently availing of the services of a learning support teacher on a shared basis. My Department is currently reviewing the distribution of learning support provision in all primary schools. The case made on behalf of the school in question has been noted and the needs of the school will be taken fully into account in the event of additional learning support teacher posts becoming available for distribution.
