382 Mr. Boyle asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the number of nominations and appointments made by him since 6 June 2002; and the number of vacancies and areas where vacancies for such appointments will arise and when. [11867/03]
Since 6 June 2002 I have made 32 appointments to bodies under the aegis of my Department, including 11 persons appointed by me following worker director elections. A number of board vacancies are scheduled to arise in the normal course during the remainder of 2003 and these will continue to be filled as and when they arise.
