456 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a medical operation will be expedited for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny; the reason for the delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11755/03]

The provision of hospital services for people living in County Kilkenny is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer at the board to look into this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
