Vol. 566 No. 1

Written Answers. - Housing Aid for the Elderly.

John McGuinness

Question:

482 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children further to Parliamentary Question No. 183 of 27 February 2003, the reason payment under the housing aid for the elderly scheme has not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who was approved in 2001; and if payment will be arranged immediately. [11944/03]

As the Deputy will be aware, responsibility for the operation of the special housing aid scheme for the elderly in Kilkenny rests with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
