586 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Transport if he will outline the current waiting times for driving tests at each centre; the current pass rate for first time and repeat applicants; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12328/03]

The average waiting times for driving tests at each test centre as at 28 April 2003 are set out in the following table. The national pass rate for first time applicants for the year 2002 was 52.1% and for repeat applicants was 56.7%. The figure relating to repeat applicants includes applicants who sat a driving test in a different test category during the year.
