613 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 228 of 9 April 2003, if a request for a monitoring facility for closed circuit television cameras installed by Dublin City Council at Store Street Garda station, Dublin 1, was made as part of the RAPID programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been informed by the Garda authorities that the CCTV advisory committee has not received any application to have a monitoring facility for closed circuit television cameras installed by Dublin City Council at Store St. Garda station, Dublin 1. I am further informed that no application for a monitoring facility at Store Street Garda station was made as part of the RAPID programme.
