Vol. 566 No. 1

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Liz McManus

Question:

636 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will review the case of a person (details supplied) in view of the fact that further information has been furnished which covers all outstanding issues; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11737/03]

My Department's records indicate that the application in question was refused in January 2003. An appeal in respect of the application was received in March 2003. The visa appeals officer, having reconsidered the application, upheld the original decision. It is open to the applicant to make a fresh application with up to date supporting documentation and the matter will be considered anew.
