Vol. 566 No. 4

Written Answers. - Services for People with Disabilities.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

216 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children if the Southern Health Board will restore psychology and social work services to the children of St. Ita's and St. Joseph's School, Balloonagh, Tralee, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13136/03]

Responsibility for the provision of services to persons with an intellectual disability and those with autism in the Kerry area rests in the first instance with the Southern Health Board. My Department has therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
