Vol. 567 No. 2

Written Answers. - Driving Licences.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

146 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Transport his proposals to adequately advertise the fact that people over 70 years of age are entitled to a free driver's licence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13620/03]

The fee structure applicable to an application for a driving licence, including a nil fee in respect of an application by a person aged 70 years or more, is set out on the licence application form which all applicants must complete. Details of the fee structure are also contained on my Department's website at www.transport.ie.
