Vol. 567 No. 2

Written Answers. - Autism Services.

Liz McManus

Question:

219 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the application by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 for respite care of six weeks; the reason this person was refused; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13964/03]

Responsibility for the provision of health services in the Dublin 11 area rests with the Northern Area Health Board operating under the aegis of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to her, as a matter of urgency.
