Vol. 567 No. 2

Written Answers. - Disability Services.

Mary Upton

Question:

220 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children further to his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 123 of 6 March 2003, the position regarding this matter, given that there is no evidence that the facility in question is badly run and that it was the health board who originally applied for the places in the Autism Society facility. [14070/03]

As previously stated in my reply of the 6 March 2003, responsibility for the provision of services to persons with autism or intellectual disability in the Dublin region lies with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, referred the question back to the regional chief executive of the authority and asked him to reply directly to the Deputy.

Question No. 221 answered with Question No. 104.
