213 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance if he will publish the details of the capital projects being initiated during 2003 by his Department and planned for the following four years; and the current estimate of the final cost of the projects in each case. [14457/03]
The details requested by the Deputy are outlined as follows. In addition to capital projects being initiated by my Department in 2003, funding for capital projects in other Departments is also provided through central funds, as in the case of the Information Society, €3.393 million and e-Procurement €500,000. In relation to the years 2004-2007, details of all future capital projects are not available. The Deputy may also wish to note that capital expenditure is also incurred on consultancy type and human capital expenditure, for example, legal, financial, educational, cultural etc, which are not project based.
