Vol. 567 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

John McGuinness

Question:

307 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will be examined to ensure that they continue to be hospitalised at St. Luke's, Kilkenny, or Castlecomer District Hospital; and if a response from the South-Eastern Health Board will be requested urgently in this regard. [14322/03]

Responsibility for the provision of health services in the Kilkenny area rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him, as a matter of urgency.
