Vol. 567 No. 5

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

355 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health and Children if assistance will be provided in having a person (details supplied) in County Cork called for urgent orthodontic treatment; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this person has been waiting over two and a half years. [14699/03]

Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Cork rests with the Southern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
