71 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will enter into negotiations with the members of the Schengen countries regarding giving extended visitor visas to those working here on behalf of companies based here who are not EU citizens; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This matter does not fall within the remit of my Department. It would be a matter for the authorities of the non-EU Governments concerned to initiate such an arrangement with the relevant Schengen countries.
