Question:119 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be allowed to sell milk quota; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15049/03]
Written Answers. - Milk Quota.
The permanent transfer of land of quota is governed by Regulation 7 of the European Communities (Milk Quota) Regulations 2000.
With regard to this application, which was received in this Department on 20 May 2003, there are some matters in relation to the milk quota which need to be clarified before a certificate under Regulation 7 can be issued.
The details in relation to this persons quota have been referred to the person's co-operative for clarification. On receipt of this, the matter will then be followed up with the person named or his legal representative.
