Vol. 567 No. 7

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Willie Penrose

Question:

130 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Finance if an application for the refund of stamp duty paid on a land transaction by a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who was an exempt person from paying stamp duty due to having completed the relevant courses in farming will be dealt with; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15063/03]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the Land Registry was requested to provide the original stamped deed of transfer to the Stamp Duty Office in Dublin and that when it is received by them the refund application will be processed.
