124 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of people who work at the Register of Births, Deaths and Marriages Office in Castlebar, County Mayo; the number of employees working both part-time and full-time; the reason the full-time positions are not being filled in this office; if there is a panel in place; the number there are on this panel; the length of time this panel will last; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the staffing of the registration office in Castlebar County Mayo rests with the Western Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
